Why Can Experience Epson Printer Blinking?
How it felt when we're using a printer to print out important documents, all of a sudden we stopped responding to the printer and the lights on the panel next to the on / off flashing alternately.
Epson's own use Protection Counter indicator to determine the final lifetime.
Protection Counter Epson ink is the measure of emissions,Inside was a counter (counter).
Counter will count the waste ink capacity in a special storage.
How a timer (counter) is really easy to understand, when the printer head cleaning process, the ink will be automatically ejected through the head to clean it up. Then, it will be removed ink into the reservoir tank.
When we clean the head more often printer ink capacity in the tank waste will continue to grow until finally full.
Along with doing the cleaning head, the counter will increase the count of the tank capacity of the waste ink reservoir.
If the counter has stated that the storage capacity is full, the printer we will not be able to print again.
Incident characterized by the flame power button (blinking) and the experience not responding.
Here's a solution that we can do:
There are two steps you should do, namely:
1.Clean waste ink and cleaning or replacing cotton in the disposal
2.Reset protection counter
Download SSC Service Utility software and install into your pc then the configuration settings according to your printer, then close.
Right-click the tray icon SSC Service Utility, select "Protection counter" and select "Clear counter overflow".
FUNCTION The command buttons found on the Protection counter menu described as follows:
-Show Curent Value: Displays curent value protection can counter.Anda
use it to see the reset procedure.
Counter-Reset protection: To reset the protection counter to zero.
-Clear counter overflow To reset the protection counter to zero. Only works when the printer is asking for treatment because of an error (blinking).
Hopefully with a solution on the printer you can walk back and can be used as needed without the hassle of going to a service center.
